I wanted to take a moment to share an update on my creative journey, shedding light on my recent experiences and the decisions I've made. Today, I'd like to delve into these aspects, giving you a behind-the-scenes look into my creative process and the lessons I've learned.
1. Embracing Change and Tough Decisions
The truth is, the creative journey is often filled with uncertainties and mixed emotions, just as I'm feeling right now. A few months ago, I recorded a self-talk video that I decided not to share publicly. It was a candid expression of my frustrations, a tool to process my thoughts and feelings. That experience helped me realize the importance of addressing challenges openly, even if only for myself.
One significant decision I recently faced was letting go of a project that wasn't aligning with my creative direction. This wasn't an easy choice, and it's a situation many creatives can relate to. While my financial circumstances have changed due to various factors, I've come to embrace the reality of seeking different sources of income. This is a prevalent situation in today's world, and there's no shame in seeking opportunities that support our creative pursuits.
